Doctor Who New Who Series Ranking

Just a reminder on what it was at the end of Series 9.

Since doing a new who marathon I am pretty certain that my order has changed since then.

4. Series 3 = 7.20 (Up by 0.30)
5. Series 10 = 7.10 (New + Incomplete)
6. Series 5 = 7.10 (Up by 0.20)
7. Series 9 = 7.00 (Down by 0.13)
8. Series 7 = 6.76 (Down by 0.18)
9. Series 6 = 6.75 (Up by 0.18)
10. Series 8 = 6.73 (Down by 0.27)

Well Series 10 manages to pop in in in joint 5th although because I prefer series 10 to 5 just by thought it manages to over top it. I am incredibly surprised by how much the score has changed. I really wasn't expecting much change at all but every single series changed somewhat. Four of the past 9 series have gone down, in particular series 8 and the other five have gone up, in particular series 3. Series 8 has gone down to last place, taking that away from series 6 which held it in 2014 and 2015. Series 8 originally was 3rd of 8 then 5th of 9 and now 10th of 10. This really is surprising at face value for me but looking into it I do have to agree. My once second favourite series, series 7 has now fallen to 8th and is almost at risk of falling below series 6. Series 4 is still at the top but has lost its incredibly high lead. Yet again, just like series 8 and 9, Series 10 has done well. Last year series 9 was my favourite Moffat series and was in 4th place, beating a Russel series, series 3. Now it is in 7 of 10. I thought that as a got older I would tread away from preferring the RTD series but instead it has gone the other way. Perhaps Nostalgia has caught up with me. It is interesting to see that in my top half after series 8 (when Moffat and RTD had done the same amount) was equal. If we still were to only use the first 8 series then all of RTD's series were in the top half. Series 8 was my second favourite Moffat series in 2014 and 2015, just behind series 7 and 9 respectively. Now it is 6th. Series 9 was my favourite of the five Moffat series of 2015 but now it is third of six, with new series 10 entering 5th and series 5 also rising. All three years have seen the same ranking for me of the RTD series with 4 always being my favourite and 3 being my least favourite.
