Doctor Who List #1 The Best Doctors

1. Jon Pertwee - Nice, kind Doctor. Awesome at fighting and a very nice man. His relationships with the other regulars of his era are excellent and his stories are the best.

2. Tom Baker- A Mischievous, Fun and Dark Doctor. Tom Baker has a very good personality, not really looking like he takes anything seriously. His funniness is very fun to watch, however he can get a bit over the top, though this really only occurs during his middle seasons. Some of Tom's stories are excellent and some are very bad. A lot are average, but with another doctor they too would not be very good. Tom Baker has good relationships with most of his companions, most notably Sarah Jane Smith and Rommana II.

3. David Tennant- Most peoples favourite doctor and I can see why. He is a very funny man but can get serious if he needs to be. His stories are very good a few being exceptional and the others are pretty average with some poor stories. His relationship with Donna is very good to watch. His relationship with Rose is a good one but can get a bit annoying at times. His relationship with Martha is appalling.

4. Matt Smith- Matt Smith has moved up my rankings from 6th to 4th. It is not because he has got better it is because my opinions on the Doctors ranked higher than him have gone down. This doctor is a clumsy, childish but yet again can be serious. His relationships with his companions are not very strong and neither are his earlier stories. His latest season however has mostly great stories. The Stories featuring Matt Smith are confusing for a casual viewer. It is unlike David Tennant where there is a theme to a series that a religious watcher will pick up on but a normal viewer doesn't need to. All of Matt Smith's era is about The Crack in Time, with sub-elements of how the Doctor survives his death, Why will the Silence fall? and Doctor Who? In the seventh series there is a tale which is a very good mystery (How Clara has died so many times.)

5. Colin Baker- Colin, like Matt Smith has rose in my rankings. This Doctor is not popular and is currently last in the Best Doctor Poll. You either love him or hate him. I for one love him. He is a very dark Doctor and a bit of a know it all. His relationship with Peri is awkward at the begging and turns nice in the middle and then nasty when the Doctor begins to put Peri's live in danger to defeat the enemy. Colin Baker's stories are very weak with some average and one great.
