"You're either with us or your an evil racist sexist misogynistic homophobic white supremacist bigot" sums up what people with my point of view are being called.
I am not sexist.
My views have been made clear so I wont bother sharing them again
Peter Davison and Peter Purves are against the 13th Doctor.
I hate this idea
Why don't we get a new spin off following Jenny, the Doctor's Daughter as Peter Davison suggests.
If I am sexist then I don't get how girls can be sexist against their own gender. I have friends which are girls who are against this. The Doctor is a male character. I will give her a chance but she won't be the Doctor in my eyes just like Missy is not the Master.
I am fine with new characters in Star Wars like Rey or Jyn Erso because they are new characters but the Doctor is an existing one. Don't take away a role model for half the population and take it away and give it to the other half, give them their own.
Doctor Who is sadly far more than a TV Show for me and a lot of other people. We are offended by the casting as we don't feel its right. 90% of us (roughly) are not sexist)
I am going to use a rather poor analogy but its the best I can think off. You have two babies, one girl and one boy. Both have their own toys to play with. Both can play with each others toys. However it is the owner of the toy that makes the decisions on how the toy looks or something like that. The boy unfortunately has more toys than the girl. The boy doesn't like his other toys that much so there mostly played by the girl who has less toys but he does like one particular toy, the Blue Box. Like is not the right word, he is obsessed with it. He adores it. His whole life is dedicated to this blue box. The girl likes the blue box too. Sometimes she struggles to connect with it because of the amount of 'boy' things added to it but she still enjoys it. Sometimes she likes it as much as the boy. One day the babies mother realises that the girl has less toys than the boy. She gives her a few more toys but not a lot. She then decides to give the blue box to the girl and allows her to do what she wants to the box. Therefore the number of toys is more fair. However now you have someone else who dedicated their life to the Blue Box but can no longer do what they want with it. Yes they can still play with it but its not the same. The girl before was perfectly happy playing with the blue box when it was in the hands and although there were some changes she didn't like that the boy did she was still happy to play with it. Now the boy is very upset because his toy, which was far more than a toy to him, has now been changed. He has more than just a 'well its only a toy' attitude towards the Blue Box, he has a sentimental attachment to the Blue box and now it is changed forever, even if it ever got back to him in the future. Therefore in an attempt to make things fair, the mother has made her son distraught as he would have rather all his other toys be destroyed then loose the one he likes but she has made her girl happy. The mother of course could have just got another blue box for the girl.*
*The other blue box could be a spin off with equal publicity focusing on the Doctor's daughter, Jenny as Peter Davison suggests. In fact I wouldn't mind if Doctor Who went off the air for a while and this was the main sci-fi show on tele.
And for people who agree with my point of view, which is about half of the fandom, please don't give sexist comments because that makes us all look bad and the BBC won't realise their mistake.
