The Curious Case of Star Wars Spin Offs

Star Wars currently has four spin-offs released in a feature film style.

They are:

1. The Holiday Special (1978)
2. Caravan of Courage: An Ewok Adventure (1985)
3. Ewoks: Battle for Endor (1986)
4. Star Wars the Clone Wars (2008)

When Disney took over Star Wars they announced that they would continued making Spin Offs.
(Refering to them by the people in charge)

Originally there were two:

Then there was announcement of a third:

Lawrence Kasden

Then there was announcement of a fourth:

Lawrence Kasden
Simon Kinberg

Then it was announced that Josh Trank was relieved of his duties and that Simon Kinberg would move to his project and Lawrence Kasden's would be put forward.

Now Josh Trank's script that Simon Kinberg is working on has started too late so has, for the moment been cancelled:
