6. At Christmas 2014 the German and the British troops stopped fighting and played a game of football. The score was 3-2 to Germany.
7. Non-religious people often call Christmas 'Xmas' to ignore the Christian background of the festival. However the 'X' in greek means 'Chi' short for Christ.
8. Father Christmas didn't become red because of the Coco Cola advert. He was red way before the adverts. What the advert did was make Father Christmas red for then on. Before the advert Father Christmas was either red, green or purple.
9. In Sweden a Yule Goat is put up. It has been burnt down by vandals 28 times of the 45 times it has been put up
10. Christmas is celebrated on 25th December in many countries but others celebrate it on 6th January which is when the 3 kings arrived to see the baby Jesus.
