2. United States was at war with both Japan, Germany, Italy, Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Croatia,                   Albania and Vichy France (Axis) and Denmark and Iceland (Allies)
3. In 1944 Italy swaps sides and declares war with Germany and Japan
4. In 1944 Romania swaps sides and declares war with Germany
5. In 1944 Bulgaria swaps sides and declares war with Germany
6. In 1945 Finland swaps sides and declares war with Germany, it is still however in a war with the Soviet         Union (Allies)
