Doctor Who Series 8 Reviews #9: Flatline

Flatline by James Mathieson

Flatline is the second script by James Mathieson and the ninth episode of Series 8. Missy reappears for the 4th Time this series.

Flatline enters a two dimensional threat. I thought it was very clever how Clara makes the Boneless regrow the TARDIS into its 3rd Dimension but then I got a bit upset that the Doctor defeated the Boneless with the Sonic Screwdriver.

Doctor Who Series 8 Reviews #8: Mummy on the Orient Express

Mummy on the Orient Express by James Mathieson

The Eight Episode of Series 8 and the first script by James Mathieson

The Companionlose episode that everyone was waiting for didn't actually happen. Although I was quite upset about this the story was very good, if a bit rushed at the end. A promising first script by James Mathieson. Looking forward to his next script next week, Flatline.

Was not such a good performance by him at the beginning but he became better at the end.

Doctor Who Series 8 Reviews #7: Kill the Moon

Kill the Moon by Peter Harness

Kill the Moon is the first doctor who script for Peter Harness. It is the 7th episode of Series 8. It marks the third appearance of Courtney Woods, Danny Pink's Cameo makes his 5th appearance.

The Best way to describe Kill the Moon is that it is weird. The Moon is actually an egg with Spider-Parasites some how living on it.

Doctor Rating

It is good how the Doctor left Clara to get up to her decisions

Doctor Who Series 8 Reviews #6: The Caretaker

The Caretaker by Steven Moaffat and Gareth Roberts

The Caretaker is the 6th Story of the 8th Series of the revived series of Doctor Who. Danny Pink makes are 4th Appearance on the 8th Series. Courtney and Mr Armitage make their second appearance and Missy makes her third appearance.

The Caretaker is a down to earth story. You can see the similarities with The Lodger and Closing Time, two previous Gareth Roberts stories. It is a great script but I felt that the Scovox Blitzer was a back story and the Doctor - Danny relationship is the front story when really it should be in the other way round
