A trailer for Doctor Who series 12 has been released. My first impressions is that it seems it may just may be an improvement to the abysmal series that we had last year. The cyberman design does look very good, as does of course the Judoon's return and also perhaps a racnoss by the looks of things. Then of course there is Stephen Fry, which is very exciting indeed. The trailer highlights the fact that many of the cringeworthy elements of the series seem to be with us to stay which is a great shame. I am of course talking about the use of words like "family".
I am disappointed that there is not a Christmas special again this year but I am pleased to hear the rumours we will get one next year and that Saturday will be the returning slot for Doctor Who.
It is needless to say that my love for current Doctor Who has dwindled but my love for the show entirely is still there.
My reviews for Series 11 are frighteningly absent and I apologise unreservedly for that. My hopes is to complete those reviews over Christmas and then release the reviews for series 12 on a regular basis following the airing of the episodes.

A Star Wars update
My life has been incredibly busy recently and there has been lots of things to discuss.
Notably with Star Wars is the current airing of the live action TV series, The Mandalorian.
I have to say that I am most impressed with the Mandalorian, and my intention is to give a series review upon it's finishing.
In terms of the massive Episode IX trailer, I had so much to say upon its original release but my voice has somewhat gone down after much public discussion. My concern with Episode IX is the Emperor's return. I believe his death was the pivotal moment as a consequence of what it meant in the redemption of Darth Vader as well as the then arc of the saga; the balance of the force at the hands of the chosen one. The trailer however got be incredibly excited, the music was sublime. It is also good to see more of C 3PO as he has been too absent in my eyes recently. I also like the look of the fact that the whole team seem to be going on a mission together.
I apologise for the lack of coverage, and I hope the frequency prevails once more. I am intending to do a Saga marathon in preparation for the Skywaker saga's last episode and I do hope to cover that too.
